We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Boom Truck Crane Operator to transport, lift, move, and position materials and equipment at project sites. The successful candidate must have experience operating boom truck cranes, knowledge of safe lifting procedures, and the ability to work efficiently with site personnel and rigging crews.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate boom truck crane safely and efficiently during lifting and transport operations
• Perform loading, unloading, hoisting, and placement of materials/equipment
• Inspect crane, outriggers, wire ropes, hooks, and lifting accessories before and after operations
• Read and follow load charts, lifting plans, and hand signals
• Ensure loads are properly secured and balanced before lifting
• Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, dispatchers, and site supervisors
• Conduct daily preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection records, and lifting reports
• Follow all company safety policies and local regulations
• Report equipment defects, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license: [Specify license classification]
• NC II/NC III or equivalent crane operation certification preferred
• Proven experience operating boom truck cranes or mobile crane
• Knowledge of crane safety standards, rigging, and load calculations
• Ability to interpret lifting diagrams and work instructions
• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors

• Good communication and teamwork skills
