Position: Project Control Engineer

Department: Engineering Department

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare cost proposals for claims based on quantification and competitive pricing to increase the potential profitability of the Company.
• Prepare and collate relevant and required documentation to support billings to the Customer or claims.
• Validate the claims of Subcontractors through the evaluation of billings, review of the completeness of supporting documents, and reconciliation of the quantity accomplished to prevent overpayments due to overcharging by Subcontractors.
• Monitor the actual cost of the Project, such as materials and labor costs, against the budget to determine the status of the project cash flow.
• Maintain a systematic and well-organized filing system for documentation related to Customer billings, claims, and Subcontractor billings to ensure completeness of records and provide easy access for reference.
• Monitor the program and follow up on materials for purchase.
• Coordinate with the site team regarding the timely request for materials and manpower.
• Follow up with the TSG and Operations team to submit the RFA, RFI, and material submittals for approval as scheduled.
• Report directly to the Project Control Supervisor.
