Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, technical documents, and project specifications to prepare detailed cost, time, and labor estimates
• Consult with engineers, architects, contractors, clients, and vendors to gather data and resolve cost-related issues
• Prepare proposals, bid analyses, and cost reports for management or clients
• Monitor project expenses and adjust estimates based on market conditions, price fluctuations, or project changes
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess project risks, incorporating necessary financial margins
• Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and equipment costs, often using specialized software
• Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations
