Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and record all project revenues, expenses, and financial transactions.
2. Maintain accurate project cost records and ensure timely processing of payments, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.
3. Track project costs against approved budgets and identify cost variances or overruns.
4. Assist project managers in monitoring project financial performance and implementing cost control measures.
5. Prepare progress billings and validate supporting documents for client invoicing.
6. Monitor subcontractor billings and verify compliance with contract terms.
7. Prepare weekly and monthly project financial reports, including cash flow forecasts and budget updates.
8. Maintain accurate records of project assets, machinery, equipment, and related operating costs.
9. Monitor inventory movements, material consumption, and reconcile material costs with project records.
10. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and site teams to ensure accurate financial and inventory reporting.
11. Ensure complete and organized financial documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
12. Ensure project transactions comply with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
13. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or other project-based industries.
• Experience in project cost accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of procurement, inventory control, and asset management is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams and head office.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
