JOB SUMMARY:

Under the close supervision of the Finance Division Manager, provides broad administrative

and clerical support in the accounting department helping out in capturing

data, generating reports and coordinating with other work units within the department for better work efficiency.

1.  Collects and analyzes financial data (inventory, labor) to calculate the actual Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

2. Compares budgeted/standard costs with actual expenses to identify discrepancies and investigates inefficiencies.

3.  Prepared monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc reports on production costs, inventory valuations, and cost drivers for management.

4.   Supports the annual budgeting process and assists in forecasting future expenditures.

5.   Recommends cost-cutting or profit-generating initiatives to enhance efficiency.

6.   Reviews inventory valuations and conducts audits of cost-related transactions.

7.  Works with operations, procurements, and accounting teams to gather data and validate cost assumptions.

8. Practices religiously company rules and regulations on personnel conduct and other policies or programs concerning safety, security, energy, and materials conservation. Interprets such rules and regulations in the course of implementation, should the occasion arise.

9.  Practices good housekeeping in this area of responsibility.

10. Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
