About the role

Shera Building Solution (Philippines) Corp. is seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Officer. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in our continued growth and success by providing accurate and timely cost accounting support to the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and analyzing monthly cost reports, variance reports and other financial statements
2. Maintaining the integrity of the cost accounting system and ensuring all cost data is accurately recorded
3. Supporting the implementation of cost control measures and recommending improvements to increase efficiency
4. Performing cost analyses, preparing budgets and forecasts, and providing insights to management
5. Collaborating with other departments to gather and validate cost information
6. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
7. Providing training and guidance to junior members of the finance team

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Accounting or a related field
2. At least 3 years of experience in a cost accounting role, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry
3. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, methods and best practices
4. Familiarity with SAP
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
8. Willing to be assigned in Mabalacat, Pampanga
