Responsibilities:

1. Draft and prototype new formulations or optimize existing ones based on laboratory research and stability findings
2. Lead the testing of prototypes (pH, viscosity, sensory, and stability) and refine formulas to meet specific performance benchmarks.
3. Identify and resolve chemical or physical incompatibilities in the early stages of development.
4. Investigate industry trends, emerging chemical technologies, and evolving customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation.
5. Source and vet new raw materials or "hero ingredients" that offer a competitive edge for internal brands and external clients.
6. Perform benchmarking tests against competitor products to ensure superior efficacy and texture.
7. Author and update SOPs for laboratory equipment, safety protocols, and standardized testing methods.
8. Draft stability reports, Product Information Files (PIF), and Technical Data Sheets (TDS).
9. Create Master Batch Records and manufacturing instructions to ensure a seamless handoff to production.
10. Oversee the daily activities of R&D Technicians (scaling to 10+), ensuring all lab work is conducted according to established SOPs.
11. Lead the "Lab-to-Line" transition, ensuring that refined products can be scaled up to mass production without loss of integrity.
12. Review and validate all technical documentation and manufacturing protocols prior to departmental release.

Qualifications:

• BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years in R&D, with a strong background in formulation.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical staff and handle multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced technical writing (SOPs/Reports) and proficiency in scale-up calculations and validation
• Amenable to work on-site in Barangay Caybiga, North Caloocan
• CAN START ASAP
