ROLE: CONSTRUCTION SAFETY OFFICER 2 (SO2)


Work Schedule:

Monday to Saturday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Qualifications:

  • Certified Construction Safety Officer 2 (SO2)
  • Open to all genders
  • With or without relevant work experience
  • Fresh SO2 certificate holders are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledgeable in occupational safety and health standards
  • Familiar with construction site safety protocols and risk assessment
  • Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills
  • Physically fit and willing to work on construction sites


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor occupational safety and health programs on-site
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers
  • Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-miss events
  • Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation
  • Coordinate with project management regarding safety concerns and corrective actions
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness among workers and site personnel
  • Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by management
