About the role

1. Manage and direct the engineering team, ensuring the successful and timely delivery of all projects
2. Develop and oversee the implementation of construction designs and plans for new buildings and renovations
3. Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards
4. Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and address any issues that arise
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest civil engineering technologies, methods, and industry regulations
6. Provide expert technical advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of the civil engineering process
7. Mentor and develop the skills of the engineering team

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 10 years of experience as a civil engineer, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
3. Proven track record of managing complex construction projects and leading engineering teams
4. Excellent technical knowledge of structural design, construction methods, and building codes
5. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
7. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
