Job Summary

The Construction Head is responsible for leading and managing all construction operations of the company, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. The role oversees project execution, site operations, contractor coordination, procurement, and manpower management for residential and commercial fit-out and construction projects.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, technical construction expertise, and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction and fit-out projects from planning to turnover.
• Lead project managers, site engineers, contractors, and construction teams.
• Ensure projects are completed according to approved plans, timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Monitor construction progress and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Coordinate closely with design, architecture, procurement, and operations teams.
• Review project schedules, manpower allocation, and material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance evaluations.
• Manage contractor and supplier relationships.
• Prepare construction reports, project updates, and cost evaluations.
• Monitor project costs and implement cost-control measures.
• Ensure efficient communication between clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Lead construction meetings and progress reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 5–10 years of experience in construction management or project management.
• Strong background in residential, commercial, or interior fit-out projects.
• Proven experience handling multiple construction projects.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
