Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Manager who is a Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The successful candidate will manage site operations, ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, contract requirements, and government regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise all phases of construction projects from pre-construction to project completion.
  • Manage daily construction activities and coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower, equipment, and material utilization.
  • Ensure all construction work complies with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes.
  • Oversee project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays or operational issues.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review project reports, cost estimates, progress billings, variation orders, and other project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and company safety policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, productivity, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Identify project risks and develop effective solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Prepare and present project progress updates to senior management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, contract administration, and quality management.
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, residential, or infrastructure construction projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites as required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing DPWH or other government infrastructure projects is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC, government procurement procedures, and construction contract management.
  • Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance.
