About the Role:

The Compliance Analyst will assist by completing high-risk case investigations and regulatory filings. They will participate in deep-dive investigations, review case escalations, perform quality checks on regulatory reports, and identify opportunities to improve processes and risk management practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate suspicious and high-risk customer activities related to AML, CTF, and fraud
  • Review escalated cases and submit SAR filings when necessary
  • Analyze transactional trends and identify potential risk patterns
  • Evaluate monitoring reports and recommend updates to transaction monitoring rules
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Product, Customer Service, and third-party AML partners
  • Respond to law enforcement requests as required
  • Support operationalization of AML practices for new products and jurisdictions
  • Ensure compliance with internal AML policies and regulatory standards
  • Assist in training and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required


Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience investigating unusual activity and filing regulatory reports related to AML, CTF, and fraud investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of AML and fraud regulations and related typologies within the fintech industry.
  • Experience identifying and analyzing transactional behavior patterns and determining regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience escalating unusual patterns of activity for potential risk mitigation.
  • Experience working in a compliance-driven environment while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • A relevant industry (Associate-level) certification.
  • Experience contributing to operational compliance programs.
  • Direct experience in fintech or the financial services industry.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (required). Proficiency in a second language—especially Hebrew, Portuguese, and/or Japanese—is an advantage but not required.
