Core Duties of a Catering Services Driver

• Transport of Food & Equipment – Safely deliver prepared food, utensils, tables, chairs, and other catering supplies to event venues.
• Timely Delivery – Ensure on‑time arrival and setup according to event schedule.
• Vehicle Maintenance – Perform routine checks (oil, brakes, tires) and keep vehicle clean.
• Loading & Unloading – Assist staff in carrying catering equipment and food containers.
• Safety Compliance – Follow traffic rules, secure food containers, and avoid spillage or damage.

Responsibilities Beyond Driving

• Coordination with Catering Team – Work closely with waiters, chefs, and event coordinators for smooth logistics.
• Client Interaction – Represent the company professionally when meeting clients at venues.
• Inventory Support – Help track items transported to and from events.
• Emergency Handling – Be prepared to troubleshoot vehicle issues or reroute in case of traffic delays.
