  1. Drive company vehicles to designated locations and safely transport employees, visitors, and authorized personnel.
  2. Perform daily inspection of the assigned vehicle before and after trips.
  3. Comply with all company policies, rules and regulations, and local ordinances and applicable laws.
  4. Follow all Department of Transportation requirements and traffic laws and always practice safe and defensive driving.
  5. Report accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor and obtain complete details (names, address & contact details)  of involved parties when applicable.
  6. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure vehicles are washed and disinfected as needed.
  7. Represent the company professionally and positively at all times.
  8. Communicate effectively with employees, passengers, supervisors, and co-workers and immediately report concerns or issues to the supervisor.
  9. Provide excellent service and assistance at all times.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

I. SAFETY

  • Drivers must ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, cargo, and themselves at all times.
  • Drivers must be ready/standby 30 minutes prior to the scheduled trip.
  • Drivers are allotted one (1) hour for the preparation time to check the roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle using the BLOWBAGETS checklist:
  • Battery
  • Lights
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Brake
  • Air
  • Gas
  • Engine
  • Tire
  • Self-condition/Fitness to drive
  • Drivers must ensure the vehicle is in good condition, clean and orderly before they time out.
  • Drivers must surrender vehicle keys to the guard on duty after use.
  • Drivers should immediately report any vehicle concerns or defects.

MAINTENANCE

  • Drivers are responsible for the assigned vehicle under their care, including monitoring and maintaining its overall condition. Any unusual concern, issue, or problem must be reported immediately to the supervisor.
  • Drivers must be aware of and alert to any scheduled vehicle check-ups prior to routine maintenance.
  • Drivers should bring vehicles to CASA or service centers when instructed by the supervisor.
  • Drivers should record all maintenance activities in the vehicle maintenance logbook.
  • Vehicles assigned to each must be clean and orderly at all times. 
  • Drivers should check the interior and exterior of the vehicles.
  • Drivers must inform the supervisor if the vehicle requires outside car wash services.

V. STANDBY AND REST AREA GUIDELINES

  • Drivers are required to remain/stay at the Admin Office during office hours when there are no scheduled trips.
  • Drivers are allowed to stay at the Admin Extension (2nd Floor) during lunch breaks. Drivers may also use the area for resting in cases of late scheduled trips and/or early morning trips.
  • Drivers must coordinate with the supervisor when rest or overnight stay is necessary due to late-night or early morning trips.
  • Drivers should maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper behavior within the Admin Extension (2nd Floor).
  • Remain available for immediate deployment while on standby.
