Driver - Mechanic

Qualifications & experience

• Professional Driver's License
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in driving and engine troubleshooting
• as well as basic automative repair and maintenance
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
• Ability to handle various tools and equipment
• Proven work experience as Company driver

Tasks & responsibilities

• Transports employees and equipment/materials to and from project sites in a timely manner
• Perform pre-use and post trip inspection of vehicle
• Responsible for the safe operation, usage, and maintenance of the assigned company vehicle
• Ensures all duties are performed in adherence to local traffic laws and company policies
• Perform servicing, troubleshooting and repair of vehicles when needed
• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned company vehicle
• Assist in loading and unloading of items when needed
• Familiar with the use of navigation apps and traffic routes
