A Clinic Assistant serves as the receptionist at a clinic. They are the first point of contact between a patient and the Doctor and are expected to provide customer service for a patient to have a satisfactory experience. They answer phone and email inquiries, set appointments, record patient information, take vital statistics during triage, and assist the Doctor with basic procedures and clerical duties. Clinic Assistants work at hospitals as well as private and community clinics.
