The Structural Engineer is responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for housing projects using concrete and steel materials. The role involves preparing construction documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and providing technical support throughout project execution to ensure structures are safe, efficient, and compliant with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for residential and housing development projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines during project development and construction.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor structural work and address technical concerns.
• Review and evaluate structural plans, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Provide technical support and recommendations during construction and project implementation.
• Assist in resolving structural issues and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and engineering records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Civil/Structural Engineer license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in housing developments.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and steel structural design.
• Familiarity with applicable engineering software, building codes, and construction standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willing to travel to project sites.
