Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer (Project / Site)

Location: Batangas (Field-based/Office-based)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer with at least one year of professional experience to join our project team. You will support senior engineers in overseeing site operations, ensuring technical specifications are met, and maintaining project timelines for our developments within Batangas.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities on-site to ensure work aligns with approved plans, drawings, and safety standards.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, manpower charts, and material inventories to the Project Manager.
• Quantity Surveying: Assist in performing "take-offs" (material estimates) and verifying billings from subcontractors.
• Quality Control: Conduct field inspections and coordinate with laboratory technicians for soil, concrete, and material testing.
• Permitting & Coordination: Assist in securing necessary local permits (Building Permits, Occupancy Permits) from the Batangas Provincial/City Engineering Office or PEZA (if within industrial zones).
• CAD Support: Update as-built drawings using AutoCAD to reflect actual site conditions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• License: Registered Civil Engineer (PRC License) is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction (Residential, Commercial, or Industrial).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel is a must).
• Basic knowledge of project scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera).
• Familiarity with the National Building Code of the Philippines.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in English and Tagalog; ability to manage site laborers effectively.
• Willingness to Travel: Must be willing to be assigned to various project sites within Batangas (e.g., Lipa, Sto. Tomas, Batangas City, or Mabini).
