Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, we are seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant to join the finance team at Pacific Links Golf Development Inc. in Cabuyao City, Laguna. As the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. This is a full-time, on-site position.

What you'll be doing
Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end and year-end closings
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards
Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns and liaise with external auditors
Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies and procedures
Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or ACCA)
At least 8 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and tax regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
Proven experience in leading and managing an accounting team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization
