Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Chemist
- Familiar with ISO/IEC 17015 standard
- Preferably with experience in cement testing – physical and chemical testing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for prioritizing and scheduling work to meet demands set by department and clients
- Perform detailed preparation and analysis of samples – chemical analysis and physicochemical analysis according to published methods and laboratory procedures
- Monitor the validity of the analysis performed and data generated in the laboratory
- Generate results from raw data, performing primary review against method criteria
- Conduct quality control checks and participate in assigned proficiency testing schemes
- Monitor the inventory of controlled chemicals and materials
- Perform other related tasks assigned by immediate head
