Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Chemist
• Familiar with ISO/IEC 17015 standard
• Preferably with experience in cement testing – physical and chemical testing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for prioritizing and scheduling work to meet demands set by department and clients
• Perform detailed preparation and analysis of samples – chemical analysis and physicochemical analysis according to published methods and laboratory procedures
• Monitor the validity of the analysis performed and data generated in the laboratory
• Generate results from raw data, performing primary review against method criteria
• Conduct quality control checks and participate in assigned proficiency testing schemes
• Monitor the inventory of controlled chemicals and materials
• Perform other related tasks assigned by immediate head
