Inventory and Ordering:
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Place orders for ingredients and kitchen equipment as needed, ensuring availability and cost control.
Staff Training and Development:
- Train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques, safety protocols, and the proper use of kitchen equipment.
- Provide ongoing training to improve team performance and technical skills.
Requirements
- Advanced cooking and food preparation skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
