Job Summary

Ensure that the manufactured products have complied with the requirement of the customer prior to next process or upon packaging for delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.      Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; visual and measurement test; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

2.      Approves in-process production by conforming specification; conducting visual and measurement; communicating required adjustment to production leadmen

3.      Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; submits reports to document controller (QA Staff) for inputting into quality database.

4.      Generates ICAN reports when non-conforming items are discovered

5.      Labelling of outgoing product status.

6.      Performs other related tasks from time to time

Qualification/Skills Requirements

1.      At least high school and/or vocational course

2.      At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position

3.      Preferably 1-4 years experience in manufacturing/production or equivalent.

4.      Must possess reasonable analytical skills

5.      Knowledgeable in measuring instruments

6.      Keen attention to detail

7.      Good communications skills

8.      Able to work with minimal supervision

9.      Team player
