- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders and inquiries.
- Operate the cash register or POS system, ensuring accurate handling of payments (cash, card, mobile, etc.).
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current products, pricing, and promotions.
- Upsell and suggest additional items to customers when appropriate.
- Ensure the display area is clean, well-stocked, and attractive at all times.
- Assist in monitoring inventory and informing the supervisor of low-stock items.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards as required in handling baked goods.
- Support other staff with tasks as needed, such as packaging and labeling items.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or food service is preferred but not required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and customer-oriented.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
