- Transaction Processing: Accurately scan, itemize, and total customer purchases using POS systems.
- Payment Handling: Accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and digital payments; process coupons, gift cards, and vouchers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions regarding products or store policies, and resolve complaints.
- Cash Management: Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring accuracy.
- Merchandising Support: Bag items, restock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
- Returns/Exchanges: Process customer returns, exchanges, and layaways efficiently.
