- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Accept cash, and other online platform mode of payment from customers
- Calculate and tender change accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to store management or security personnel.
- Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations to customers.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in inventory reconciliation processes.
- Adhere to store policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, security, and safety.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and free of clutter.
