Description
- Customer service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints
- Processing transactions: Using a cash register to ring up sales, collect payment, and provide change
- Maintaining records: Counting the register drawer at the end of the shift, and keeping track of receipts and withdrawals
- Stocking and merchandising: Assisting with stocking and rotating merchandise, and ensuring the checkout and merchandise areas are clean
- Reporting: Reporting issues with equipment, and discrepancies in transactions
- Cross-selling: Recommending products and introducing new ones
- Handling returns: Processing returns, exchanges, and layaways
Requirement
- Educational Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.
- Experience Level: Candidates should possess less than 1 year of experience in sales or customer service roles.
- Skills and Competencies: Key skills include excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in POS systems, and strong communication abilities.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Duties involve engaging customers, managing transactions, and providing exceptional service while maintaining attention to detail.
- Working Conditions: Work is typically conducted in retail environments or sales floors, requiring flexible hours.
