Description

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
  • Answer questions about the menu, ingredients, and available promotions.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate to the supervisor if needed.

Cashier Duties:

  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
  • Accurately handle cash, credit card, and e-payments, ensuring correct change and receipts are provided.
  • Balance and reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Handle cash deposits and prepare end-of-day financial reports for management review.
  • Apply discounts, promotions, or loyalty rewards as appropriate, ensuring accurate calculations.
  • Verify and process refunds, exchanges, and adjustments according to company policies.
  • Monitor and report any issues with the POS system, cash drawer discrepancies, or transaction errors to the manager.
  • Assist customers with any questions about payment options or receipt issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of the restaurant’s daily specials, promotions, and menu items to accurately inform customers.
  • Manage customer orders in the POS to track order status and ensure smooth kitchen coordination.
  • Conduct periodic checks on cash levels and request change from the manager when necessary.

Order Preparation:

  • Assist in preparing and serving food items as per restaurant standards.
  • Ensure all orders are complete, correct, and presented well before serving to customers.


Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Keep the front counter, dining area, and other service areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with restocking supplies, such as utensils, napkins, and condiments.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Help with other tasks and duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.
