Excellent Communication Skills

Description

  • Operate cash registers and handle customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
  • Provide customers with accurate pricing and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products and promotions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
  • Follow all store policies regarding sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Address customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate manager for resolution.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.

Requirement

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle cash responsibly and work under pressure.
