Carton Erecting Machine Operator
Job Description
Description
- Ensure that the job order, required materials (die-cutted blanks, glue, pallets, die mold) and necessary documents are available before running.
- Accomplish the daily production report for each job order and other necessary reports.
- Perform periodic quality checks of shell erected products during running.
- Troubleshoot shell erected deficiencies and suggest solutions in order to correct them.
- Ensure proper labelling/tagging of the production output.
- Report immediately to the Department Head in case there are issues encountered in operating the machine.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of work area by performing 5S and line clearance before and after each machine run.
- Assist during machine’s Preventive Maintenance.
- Ensure that the machine is in tiptop condition.
- Adhere to Company rules and regulations including ISO, Safety, GMP-PRPs and Food Safety practices and standards and other Departmental procedures.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Requirement
- At least high school graduate or either College Level or Technical/Vocational Course graduate
- With one (1) to two (2) years experience as shell erecting operator in a printing or packaging company
