CAD Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable engineering codes.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding drawing revisions and project updates.
• Review drawings for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before submission.
• Update and maintain drawing revisions and document control records.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and completed installations.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimates when required.
• Organize and maintain electronic and hard-copy drawing files.
• Participate in project coordination meetings when necessary.
• Ensure confidentiality of project documents and technical information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related course.
• Preferably with at least 1–2 years of experience as a CAD Operator or in a similar role.
• Fresh graduates with strong CAD knowledge are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or other CAD software is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering, architectural, and construction drawings.
• Knowledgeable in drafting standards, construction methods, and engineering principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
