Duties & Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design

1.  Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on project requirements

2.  Revise and update drawings according to feedback from engineers, architects, or project managers.

3. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with drafting standards.

4. Collaboration

5. Work closely with engineers, architects, designers, and project managers to develop design concepts.

6.  Coordinate with other team members to ensure drawings are consistent and aligned across disciplines.

7. Documentation and Records

8. Maintain and organize drawing files, project documentation, and revisions in proper formats.

9. Ensure all drawings are properly labeled, documented, and archived.

10. Standards and Compliance

11.Follow company drafting standards, procedures, and quality requirements.

12. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.

13. Software Utilization

14.   Operate CAD software (AutoCAD, sketch-up,enscape. Etc.) efficiently to produce high-quality drawings.

15.   Keep up-to-date with software updates, new tools, and drafting technologies.

16.   Project Support

17.  Assist in preparing drawings for presentations, permits, construction, or manufacturing.

18.  Support engineers or architects in making design modifications and adjustments.

19.   Quality Control

20.   Check and review own work and others’ drawings to detect errors or inconsistencies.

21.   Ensure accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.

22.  Time Management

23.   Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines.

24.  Prioritize tasks based on urgency and project requirements
