Description

This position will primarily involve developing detailed drawings and models that will serve as visualization of architectural design concepts and blueprints for construction. You will work alongside property owners, designers, and engineers throughout the entire design process--from schematic/concept design until implementation. The projects that you will be involved in are a range of residential, commercial, and industrial structures or spaces.

We are looking for an applicant with good and practical spatial skills, able to translate design concepts into detailed and accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D detailed drawings based on client requirements and design specifications
• Collaborate with designers and engineers throughout the design process to ensure good utilization of space with careful consideration on structural elements and utilities
• Verify design drawings are compliant with applicable building codes and architectural standards
• Organize and facilitate requirements for building permit
• Document and organize CAD files for easy retrieval and reference throughout the project's duration
• Validate compliance with design intent and technical specifications during construction phase/implementation
• Assist lead designer in site visits, client meetings and presentations

Qualifications

• Proficient with design softwares such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion
• Preferably with relevant experience in architectural and engineering design projects
• Applicant must have good communication & collaboration skills and is committed to deliver quality work
