Job Description:

• Performs maintenance check of fiber optic cables

• Performs tasks such as climbing ladders & utility poles, fusion splicing of optical fibers, new splicing and repair splicing

• Responsible in handling delicate fibers

• Responsible in conducting periodic check of the fiber optic infrastructure

• Responsible in troubleshooting problems, identifies and create solution

• Performs technical testing of fiber optic cables in the field

Visually identifies fibers through labeling and color-coding

QUALIFICATIONS :

*atleast highschool graduate, college graduate/Vocational Diploma on Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent

*Must have a valid Driver’s License & knows how to drive a Manual vehicle

*Knowledgeable with Fiber Optic Maintenance & Splicing
