- Sources and assesses potential suppliers based on technical capabilities, quality standards and reliability
- Negotiates terms, prices and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions
- Manages purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
- Collaborates with technical, engineering and drydocking teams to understand product specifications and requirements
- Assesses and validates technical capabilities of products and suppliers to ensure they meet company standards
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable delivery and service
- Implements cost-control measure and identify opportunities' for cost reduction
- Coordinates with Batangas support Facility teams to ensure adequate stock levels of vessel products
- Provides technical expertise and support in selecting and evaluation products and suppliers.
