Business Development Manager

• Quickly acquire deep expertise in cryptocurrency mining hardware, firmware, and software; data center infrastructure (both static and modular); energy markets (regulated, deregulated, and off-grid); mechanical engineering (airflow management and immersion cooling); joint ventures and other corporate structures; financial markets (mining valuations and financing); portfolio and treasury management (managing ASIC portfolios and BTC holdings); and more.
• Assist in delivering cutting-edge technologies such as mining pool services, financing solutions, ASIC management software, and custom firmware for miners.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key mining farms and operators across North America.
• Promote Spider’s global presence by attending conferences, speaking on podcasts, and authoring articles.
• Conduct due diligence on mining sites and colocation facilities to identify partners for farm expansion; maintain relationships with numerous energy producers and hosting facilities worldwide.
• Oversee the end-to-end customer onboarding process, ensuring a seamless integration experience.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the crypto mining sector working with ASICs and GPUs (professional or enthusiast).
• Fundamental understanding of mining pool software, power markets, energy infrastructure, data center operations, and shipping logistics, including insurance and tariffs.
• Effective communication skills with clients, media, and business partners.
• Willingness to travel multiple times per quarter.
• Proficiency in English as the working language.
