Our comprehensive portfolio includes Smart Lighting Controls, Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), PABX, specialized Hospitality Telephones, and GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) infrastructure. While we are an established leader in the hospitality sector, we are aggressively expanding our footprint into new verticals, including commercial real estate, luxury residential developments (MDUs), and smart corporate offices.

We are seeking a Technical Business Development Manager to spearhead our outbound growth. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, your primary objective is to open doors. You will connect with developers, MEP consultants, architects, and project managers to introduce our ecosystem of solutions. Once you uncover a project opportunity and secure the initial meeting, our Director and executive team will step in to lead the technical design and close the deal.

Key Responsibilities

• Outbound Pipeline Generation: Actively hunt for new business opportunities across both our core hospitality market and expansion markets (commercial offices, luxury residential, mixed-use developments).
• Multi-Solution Pitching: Dynamically position our product suite based on the client's needs—whether pitching a unified GPON backbone for a commercial tower, a state-of-the-art Guest Room Management System (GRMS) for a resort, or Smart Lighting for a corporate office.
• Network with Industry Gatekeepers: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including Property Developers, General Contractors, Interior Designers, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Consultants to get our hardware specified early in the project lifecycle.
• Lead Qualification & Discovery: Conduct initial discovery conversations to identify project timelines, budgets, and hardware requirements.
• Seamless Hand-Off: Gather project floor plans, specifications, and client pain points, beautifully packaging the opportunity for the Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the closing strategy.
• CRM Management: Track all prospecting activities, project pipelines, and contact networks within our CRM.

Work Structure (Hybrid)

• This is a hybrid role combining the flexibility of remote prospecting with required, scheduled days in our [Insert City Name] office for strategy sessions, pipeline reviews with the Director, and team collaboration.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• The "ELV & Automation" Sweet Spot: 3+ years of business development or pre-sales experience within building automation, smart lighting, hospitality technology (GRMS/Telecom), or fiber networking (GPON).
• The Project Hunter: A proven track record of navigating the construction, real estate, or hotel development ecosystem. You know how to track down a project before the foundation is even poured.
• Semi-Technical Literacy: You do not need to program the lighting panels or splice the fiber optics yourself, but you must be able to hold an intelligent, high-level conversation about how these systems integrate into a building's overall infrastructure.
• Exceptional Communication: Highly articulate with the ability to build immediate trust with both site contractors and executive developers.
