Bus Driver

Operating and maintaining vehicles, combining driving duties with mechanical repair tasks.

• Driving & Transportation: Operating various vehicles to transport people, equipment, or materials to designated locations safely and on time. 
• Vehicle Inspections: Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip checks to ensure vehicles are roadworthy, clean, and free from mechanical issues. 
• Routine Maintenance: Conducting scheduled maintenance such as checking and topping off fluids, changing oil, and rotating tires to keep vehicles in good working order. 
• Mechanical Repair: Diagnosing mechanical problems and performing repairs on engine, electrical, and other vehicle systems to ensure operational readiness. 
• Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed logs of maintenance activities, repair history, fuel consumption, and other vehicle performance data. 
• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all vehicles meet safety standards, adhering to traffic laws, and reporting any safety concerns to management. 
• Breakdown Support: Providing assistance and on-site repairs for vehicles that experience breakdowns, minimizing downtime. 
• Fleet Upkeep: Keeping vehicles clean and presentable, both inside and out. 

• Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicles being operated. 
• Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and experience with maintenance and repair. 
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to vehicle operation and maintenance. 
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform other physical tasks as required by the job. 
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and work independently to complete tasks efficiently. 
• At least high school graduate or college level
• 1-3 years of work experience
