Description

The Operations Technician II is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment and systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This role requires intermediate technical expertise, the ability to resolve operational issues, and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Operate and monitor equipment, machinery, or systems according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform routine inspections and identify abnormal conditions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational or equipment issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and minor corrective maintenance.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or engineers.
• Record operational data, incidents, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper tool management.
• Participate in shift work or on-call schedules as required.

Requirements

• Technical/Vocational Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant technical or operations experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Computer literate (MS Office or maintenance systems).
• Willingness to work in shifts.
