A Maintenance Technician ensures the safe and efficient operation of facilities by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen equipment. Key duties include responding to guest/staff repair requests, painting, and maintaining safety standards. They require strong technical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and flexibility to work weekends or shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects and services guest rooms, public areas, and kitchen equipment (refrigeration, ovens, stoves) to prevent breakdowns.
• Repairs plumbing (leaks, toilets), electrical (lighting, switches), HVAC systems, painting, and carpentry repairs on furniture and fixtures.
• Promptly responds to maintenance requests from guests or departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Front Desk) to ensure a comfortable stay.
• Ensures all systems meet health and safety regulations (fire,, pool/spa) and maintains safety standards.
• Keeps accurate records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in hospitality or food service.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment; flexibility for shift work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (HVAC or electrical vocational training is a plus).
