Role Overview

As a Customer Product Advisor, you are the brand ambassador for our mission: making sustainable, low-impact living accessible and premium. We are a leading zero-waste and bulk organic retailer, and your role is to guide customers through a conscious shopping journey. You will turn every interaction into a positive, educational experience—helping guests reduce their ecological footprint while driving sales, fostering long-term loyalty, and growing our community of conscious consumers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sustainable Retail & Consultative Sales

• Zero-Waste Advocacy: Educate customers on the benefits of bulk purchasing, plastic-free living, and the sourcing of our organic products.
• Exceptional Service: Deliver a high-touch, personalized experience that helps guests adopt sustainable habits tailored to their lifestyle.
• Bulk & Organic Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of our bulk inventory—including organic food standards, sourcing transparency, and eco-friendly home alternatives—to provide informed product recommendations.
• Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly sales goals through authentic engagement, upselling of eco-friendly alternatives, and cross-selling bulk essentials.

2. Operational Excellence (Zero-Waste Focus)

• Bulk Management: Monitor bulk dispensers and bins for cleanliness, hygiene, and proper rotation. Ensure "first-in, first-out" stock management to maintain freshness.
• Refill Station Maintenance: Assist customers at the refill stations, ensuring a seamless and mess-free experience while adhering to food safety standards.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain the “premium, earth-friendly look” of the store. Ensure shelves are impeccably organized, clearly labeled with sustainability information, and fully stocked.
• Waste Reduction: Support store-wide initiatives to minimize operational waste and ensure proper recycling/composting protocols are followed.

3. Inventory & Standards

• Quality Assurance: Strictly monitor the freshness of organic perishables and bulk dry goods. Pull near-expiry items and report damages immediately.
• Inventory Accuracy: Participate in regular stock counts, verifying that bulk product weights and inventory records align perfectly.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food-handling regulations required for organic and bulk retail environments.
