EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: At least 10 years of proven, progressive work experience within an FMCG, Pet Care, Animal Nutrition, or closely related industry.
• Geographic & Market Exposure: Demonstrated nationwide market exposure across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao regions.
• Proven Track Record: Successful execution of managing product categories or projects from initial conceptualization to launching, scaling, and operational maturity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Intelligence & Commercial Strategy

• Industry Expertise: Deep, current understanding of the pet food industry landscape, local consumer buying behaviors, lifestyle/premiumization trends, and pricing structures.
• Brand & Marketing Architecture: Proven ability to identify market gaps and opportunities across traditional trade and e-commerce.

Product Development & Supply Chain Operations

• Product Formulation Literacy: Technical and commercial comprehension of pet food formulation essentials (ingredient profiles, nutrition standards, wet vs. dry, packaging trends) to spearhead proprietary product design.
• Operational & Sourcing Strategy: Experienced in end-to-end supply chain execution, including identifying, auditing, and managing relationships with local/international co-packers.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Knowledgeable in navigating local product registrations, legal structures, and institutional compliance standards for pet food distribution (e.g., Bureau of Animal Industry, Food and Drug Administration, or local equivalents).

Financial & Technical Acumen

• Full Accountability: Robust financial acumen with direct experience managing business unit budgets, sales forecasting, cost optimization, margin controls, and total profitability matrices.
• System Literacy: Working proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience navigating corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.

• People Management: Above-average leadership capabilities, with a documented history of recruiting, building, mentoring, and guiding high-performance cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations).
• Schedule & Mobility Flexibility: Flexible to work beyond standard office hours, including Mondays to Saturdays or as dynamic business needs require; fully available to travel nationwide as necessary.
