Bookkeeper

Job Summary:

The Accounting Staff is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, preparing reports, and assisting in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or any related field.
• At least one (1) year of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and financial records.
• Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable monitoring.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules as required.
• Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of accounting documents.
• Assist in payroll processing and government compliance requirements.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
