• Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure continuous operation of biomedical equipment.
• Installation & Calibration: Install and calibrate new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Quality Assurance & Environmental Compliance: Ensure all biomedical equipment complies with safety, regulatory, and performance standards by conducting regular safety checks and supporting a risk-free, compliant working environment.
• Training & Support: Train healthcare professionals on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting.
• Technical Evaluation & Approvals: Inspect, evaluate, and approve new equipment by conducting performance and compliance tests.
• Inventory & Documentation: Conduct monthly inspections of equipment inventory, including all parts and accessories, to ensure completeness and proper working condition of all items in the warehouse.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry best practices through training and technical reading.
• Document Management: Submit all service reports to the pharmacist for accurate entry into the equipment maintenance database, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of all biomedical service activities.
• Reporting: Submit email reports for service cases that require manufacturer consultation or parts replacement, ensuring timely communication and follow-up on pending issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
