1. Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking.
2. Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
3. Prepare and maintain laboratory specimens, reagents, and supplies.
4. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
5. Ensure compliance with laboratory quality control and safety protocols.
6. Record and report test results accurately and promptly to physicians and relevant staff.
7. Participate in proficiency testing, internal audits, and continuous quality improvement activities.
8. Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records in accordance with hospital policies.
9. Assist in training and supervising laboratory assistants or interns.
10. Follow biosafety and infection control procedures at all times.
11. Keep updated with advances in laboratory techniques, technology, and best practices.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor or Head of Department.

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Skills and Competencies: Basic laboratory skills and knowledge of laboratory procedures.
