Job Requirements

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Industrial Technology, BS Mechatronics, or a related engineering/technical degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven design/drafting experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial process environment.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling and plant design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Plant 3D).
• Competency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of P&ID conventions, GA views, fabrication techniques, and small-bore instrument tubing systems.
• Exceptional accuracy when reviewing engineering specifications and geometric dimensions.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal skills for team and client interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and systematically organize engineering files.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain P&ID, GA and Fabrication drawings for various engineering projects.
• Interpret engineering specifications and project requirements into accurate CAD designs.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet technical and safety standards.
• Manage and organize CAD files and drawing revisions in accordance with company procedures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for CAD-related queries within the department.
• Support continuous improvement of CAD standards and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and internal quality standards.
