Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced full-time Backend developer to help build out a range of internal & external facing systems & web services. This role will need to extend our existing foundation with new features and abilities, as well as maintain and improve existing functionality. This is a highly distributed system and requires coding experience with SOAP/REST API’s and language skills aligned with Codeigniter, Laravel, etc., and patterns.

This role will have a direct impact on company growth, working closely with the business to improve existing systems and build out the next generation of products that our clients & customers will interact with.

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
• At least 3-year experience in PHP programming
• With AI background (AI integrations, AI APIs, automation tools, or basic machine learning concepts)
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increased existing data services API including but not limited to: PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.NET, etc.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc.)
• Experienced in one of the following backend frameworks: CodeIgniter, Laravel 5.4 and higher
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of and experience with relational databases, database design, version control tools, and developing web services
• Knowledge of MySQL, Linux
