JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Mechanic is responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring quality repair and maintenance of vehicles, and supervising a team of mechanics. This role ensures efficiency, safety, and high service standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of experience as a mechanic in automotive or truck maintenance
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead mechanic role
- TESDA National Certificate I, II, III, or IV in Automotive Servicing (highly preferred)
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Certificate holder (highly preferred)
KNOWLEDGE
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools, repair techniques, and preventive maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with safety regulations, quality standards, and workshop operations
SKILLS
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and quality orientation
- Physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on mechanical work
