- An Auto Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- They diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Duties often involve using diagnostic tools, reading technical manuals, and collaborating with customers to provide efficient repair solutions.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and electrical issues
- Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical problems and ensure safety compliance
- Test drive vehicles to assess problems and ensure proper repairs
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Install and repair vehicle components, such as brakes, exhaust systems, and suspension systems
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports
- Ensure tools and equipment are in proper working condition
- Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and costs
- 5 -10 years of experience
- At least High school graduate
