Description
- Identify problems: Use diagnostic tools to identify problems with a vehicle
- Plan work: Use technical manuals, charts, and experience to plan work procedures
- Perform maintenance: Perform basic maintenance like oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations
- Repair or replace parts: Replace worn-out parts like brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
- Explain problems to customers: Explain problems and repairs to customers
- Provide price estimates: Evaluate costs and provide price estimates to customers for repairs
- Update vehicle records: Update vehicle log books and provide paperwork to customers
